My name is Arina, and I arrived in Sweden six months before starting the IB programme, and I had two options: either to learn Swedish through language courses or to start the IB. I chose the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme because it offered me the opportunity to continue intensive studies and prepare for university, which had always been my priority.

This program is special because it allows students to focus in depth on subjects required by universities. The additional work required to obtain the IB Diploma fully prepares students for future university studies. In the IB program, we learn how to write research papers in our subjects, engage in Creativity Activity Service projects, and develop critical thinking skills. The IB learner profile lists all the qualities students will acquire or improve during this educational program.

One positive aspect for me is that I find the curriculum interesting, and I can see how this knowledge will provide a solid foundation for future studies.

Personally, I view the IB program as a crucial first step in my journey towards achieving my dream life. As an ambitious person, I prioritize education, and it needs to be worth all the effort.
